Visit Edinburgh during Fringe Festival (August), an absolute highlight. We certainly had bad sunsets but the events were great!

Seigantoji Temple and Nachi Falls, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan (by Ganjin).

Such an inspiring view. To me this is a typical Japanese scenery.

Good old times in Costa Rica
Long time no see: this valley we used to visit to hike in the weekends from the capital San José (1 hour drive). Nice coffee places, good fruit, friendly people.

Whitening a colourful village in Brazil on Flickr.Countryside in Brazil
Tiradentes with its cobble stones, ‘golden church’ (behind the photographer) and tiny houses was once a prosperous city. Thanks to the mines (hills on the background).
Nowadays you can hang around and enjoy an the village as an open air museum.

Not so Christian church-San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico on Flickr.San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico
Sacred and odd. Or odd and sacred. I’ll never forget this place. Via Flickr:
This colonial church in San Juan Chamula is in use as a playground, small market and meeting point. No catholic rememberance anymore but still (or maybe: because of that) a very spiritual spot.
